You may recognize Amerzone: The Explorers Legacy - Part 1 (Universal iPhone/iPad) as being the first part (publisher Microids divided the game into three for iOS gamers) of the first game developed by Benoit Sokal, the Belgian native who went on to create the Syberia series. No reviews for this one yet, but the PC source material is a solid game, so this one should be a sure get if youre looking for a serious, engaging adventure.
